High Ropes (Challenge) Course
Our high ropes course is built using natural Douglas fir trees. The high ropes “elements” challenge individuals to push themselves a little beyond their comfort zone while at the same time create a safety net of staff and peers. At Sound View, we embrace CHALLENGE BY CHOICE giving each participant the freedom to participate in whatever manner they choose.
Our summer camp program takes this a step further where we teach young people how to set up, inspect harnesses, and belay others as individuals or as a team.
The high ropes course considered an “add-on”. Run only with advanced preparation, usually with extra fees, and only when it is adequately staffed.
In 2022, we will be updating the static course to meet new guidelines and adopt 21st Century technology.
