The Northwest Corner
The Alder Trail skirts along the northwest corner of Sound View. You will hike through a pretty grove of Alder trees and close to a wetland area of camp. In 2020, this part of the camp was selectively harvested for Douglas firs. Watch for replanting to begin soon
Please stick to the trail. The wetland is an ecologically sensitive area and slash piles from the harvest are homes to bird families and small mammals.
