The Playfield and NARPA Area

The playfield area is nearby all of the camp’s lodging. The large field is ideal for ultimate frisbee (Sound View’s favorite sport). Groups also can use the field for morning activities, sports, and games. A set of bleachers on one side is set up for game instruction and for spectators.

Going down a slight dip is volleyball and horseshoe pits.

There is a fully-stocked sports shed in-between the playfield and the horseshoe pits.

The 2020 timber harvest thinned out the wooded area between the Shire and the playfield. We call this NARPA (Natural and Repurposed Play Area) NARPA is a great place to practice disc golf, orienteering, and summer campers and OEE students use it for the “shipwrecked” teambuilding activity.
