GET EXCITED ABOUT SUMMER CAMP

Thank you for registering for a week of overnight camp. We are excited that your child will be attending camp and will be treated to fun activities and a talented staff. There are a couple of forms to fill out prior to attending but these can wait until two weeks prior to the camp session so they will be the most current.

Here is what we need…

The Health History Form is required for all campers and staff. Your child cannot attend without one on file. Please fill out this form at least two weeks prior to the start of camp and please make a copy of your child’s immunization records and bring it with you on opening day.

The Letter to my Child’s Leader is a helpful tool which we will print out and give to your child’s cabin leader. It will not be shared with other campers. We know that you cannot provide a complete “guidebook” for your child but every little bit of information helps. Plan on doing this a week before the session begins.

The Letter to my Leader is filled out by your child - perhaps on their own or with your help. Cabin leaders enjoy being prepared for their arriving campers and this tool helps them plan appropriate activities and ensure that all kids’ needs are being met. Plan on doing this a week before the session begins.

It is never too early to to start gathering items for the summer packing list. Make sure your camper helps you with gathering things for camp.

Do you need to pay the remaining balance for your child’s session. This form will allow you to do that. To save fees, you can also check the balance and mail a check to Sound View Camp, P.O. Box, 296, Milton, WA. 98354.

Send your camper a message.  We will print out messages and deliver them during lunch.  PLEASE - keep messsages positive and do not use trigger phrases (wish you were home, pets miss you, etc) that may lead to homesickness.
