Do you love birds, or want to learn more about birds? Come out to camp for our first ever Sound View Bird Count. We will be accompanied by local birders as we document the birds that we see and hear in the forest and on the beach. We hope that this citizen science project will continue with a count every season, so that we can track the seasonal and yearly changes in birds we see here at camp. This free event will start at 8:00am, since birds are active at sunrise, and go until noon, or as long as weather permits. There will be hot drinks and some snacks provided. Bring binoculars if you have them! We'll have some extras for you to borrow as well.
