For the Father’s Day Weekend, we will have activities geared for dads to spend some quality time with their children. What a great weekend to bring your family camping!

Activity Schedule:

Friday 6/19:

5:00pm to 9:00pm:

Self Guided Evening Nature Walk

-Follow signs on one of camp’s trails that teach about evening and night animals that call camp home. 

7:30pm-8:30pm: 

Campfire

-Drop during this hour to hear a song or two. You can bring S’mores materials and roast marshmallows over our fire. One family allowed at campfire at a time, Masks required

Saturday 6/20:

  • Scavenger hunt available at office. Sporting equipment available to check out when the camp store is open. 

  • Self-Guided Hike of the day- Birds

9:00am- 5:00pm:

Self Guided Firebuilding

-Drop in at any time in this time slot to learn about safe fire building. Learn what you need to start a safe campfire and practice some different fire building structures. Because this activity will not be staffed, matches will not be provided One family at a time.

11:00 am- 1:00 pm:

Low Tide Beach Exploration-

Explore Sound View Beach at low tide ( -2.1 ft @ 11:56am). Check out an ID guide at the office or just explore. A staff member will be on the beach to help you find and learn about animals. Parents are responsible for supervising their children around the water. Please remember social distancing guidelines and wear masks when close to other groups.

2:00pm- 3:00pm:

Mini Farm Open-

Staff will let one family at a time into the farm to pet and possibly feed the farm animals. Closed-toe shoes and Masks required.

3:30pm- 5:30pm:

Father’s Day Craft-

Drop in with your family to work on a Father’s Day themed craft. One family at a time, Masks required. 

7:00pm- 8:30pm:

Ukulele Lessons by the Dining Hall-

Drop in and learn a song on the Ukulele. One family at a time, Masks Required.

Sunday 6/21

  • Scavenger hunt available at office. Sporting equipment available to check out when the camp store is open. 

  • Self-Guided Hike of the day- Decomposition

9:30am- 11:30pm:

Mini Farm Open

-Staff will let one family at a time into the farm to pet and possibly feed the farm animals. Closed-toe shoes and Masks required.

11:30am -1:30pm:

Self Guided Beach Exploration

-Explore the beach at low tide with your family. You can borrow a laminated “Intertidal Treasure Hunt” from the camp store. Low tide is -2.6 ft at 12:33pm. Please remember social distancing guidelines and wear masks when close to other groups.

12:00pm - 2:30pm: 

Father’s Day Craft @ Arts and Crafts by the Dining Hall

-Drop in with your family to work on a Father’s Day themed craft. One family at a time, Masks required.
